About - National Bee Board

  • Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare (DA&FW), GoI took the National Bee Board under its control and reconstituted it with effect from 13th June 2006.

  • Govt of India directed SFAC to promote and form an organization in the form of a registered society. Accordingly, the National Bee Board was formed and registered in 2000 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

  • Govt of India constituted the Beekeeping Development Board in the year 1993 to promote and coordinate activities involved in beekeeping.
